Gosh, I miss you guys. Between travelling back from the burn and running off to Woodstock, I'm not getting my fix from burner friends.
In Woodstock, the internet access is sporadic at best and when I'm working I don't get much chance to jump in here and play.
So I'm here at home for a 1/2 day then back to Woodstock. Crazy, I know, but I had to appear in divorce court again today and you can't miss those appointments. Someone is squirming about the final settlement and it isn't me. So I had to show up to confirm the settlement. Wife beaters should be strung up in public squares, methinks, especially when they don't want to pay the piper afterward.
Okay, so being home for half a day let's me drop in here for coffee and wave hi to everyone.
I loved that image of the sailboat on the coffee. Hope you had fun at the beach littleflower - that clam chowder sounded very yummy served up in a sourdough bowl. And monkeypoo has got some great tunes.
If you get a chance and if the movies get distributed these are my recommendations on feature films: The Eclipse (best movie I've seen in years) and The Messenger with my new pal Woody Harrelson. Men who Stare at Goats was okay but only 3 stars outta 5, in my opinion unless you're going just to look at George Clooney, in which case, he's a 5!
I'll recommend some documentaries later but my new favourite experience is short films especially short animation. Wow, I saw about 48 different ones. I don't know how they sell them or where but these are fantastic. The Unbelievable 4 was dynamite! I saw 14 shorts that were created by teenagers. The future is indeed bright.
That's it on film, I need a coffee.
