Post by fox00x » Wed Sep 09, 2009 11:27 pm

I have been to Burning Man a couple of times and a small group of us are planning on going next year 2010. Seeing if there are other groups going or have gone and there experiences.

Hey Fox,
I'm planning on going 2010. Never been before, so I'm hunting around trying to find some Aussies that have been. I don't really know of anyone else that's going (except for one old friend from school), but I'm going solo if I can't find a group.
I'm on the Gold Coast, not Sydney - but feel free to stay in touch. Any advice or stories of experience would be greatly appreciated!
Many Cheers,
Taz

Hi There,
I've been to the past two Burning Man's, but i probably won't make it to the next one. I'm from Melbourne, and would be happy to help you out if you have any questions about the craziest, most beautiful week of your life.

Hey guys, another virgin burner here this one from Brissy
Heading over a bit earlier to endure in a coast to coast ride.
I will be heading over with one mate, but hoping to meet plenty more there... will be keen on getting involved with a theme camp as we have to travel light on bikes so let me know if you run into any good ones.
Cheers

Some activity in Australia re both the Reno Burn in 2010 and OzBurn 2010 have a look at burningmanaustralia.com

From here you will see the links to various Burner activities within the country. While oz communities are still relatively small there is now a contact person in most capital cities.

I have been to Burning man twice and was amazed as much the second time as I was the first. I really feel like a citizen of Black Rock City and that fellow burners share something that no-others in my rural town would ever understand.
I went with my brother and found the camping to be the best way to be immersed. I seriously that once that dust gets in your veins you can never ever be the same. I have my ticket for 2010 but have not booked the flights as yet.
In the meantime I am keen to try out the Seed, even a few of us would be an event when we are all burners.
Can we not be the future we want?
