Have you ever told a Playa Lie? You know……you told a lie out at the burn…..but since you on the Playa it was OK……..what was your Playa Lie.

I’ll go first……………….I am sorry to tell you that I have never told Playa Lie………someone else will have to go first……….

My entire trip to Burning Man is a lie. I imagine I'm 20 years old, 6'2" with a full head of curly blond hair as well as an irresistable adonis.
Then I return to reality and realize what a pathetic shell I am, of the man I used to be.

daft punk WAS playing, albeit thru a sound system via a cd, and not live..

Best Playa lie was...

Brought a friend of a friend to the burn a couple years back- sooooo she didn't know me that well. We had a great Burn week lots of fun. The night of the burn we went early and sat in the first couple rows. About half thur the fire dancers- I say to her- 'Raven' you know why every one was sooooooo nice to you- your virgin year- it's all a big joke we don't Burn the Man we leave him here for next year. LOL she believed me for a couple moments! BEst Playa LIE EVER!

HA! I can beat that. At GREETERS, or actually after that, we were looking for PLACEMENT, I took my newbie friend up to one of the assistants (or whatever his role was) who looked a lot lke LH, and said, "Edward, this is Larry Harvey, the guy that invented all this!" And of course the guy played along, and said, "Yeah, sometimes I like to mingle with the little folk".

Months before the event and the week of Burning Man I told everyone I came in contact with that the Raygun Gothic Rocketship was NOT going to lift off, when in fact I knew it would. It only moved a few inches, but that was enough. Does this make me a bad person?
