Fishy Vanity Thread

Post by theCryptofishist » Sat Oct 17, 2009 6:44 pm

This is "Open Discussion" and the discussions I'm most open to involve me. Because I'm wonderful. And I like to hear that.
007 has a thread of his own. And AIIZ has multiple, so I gonna have one, too. So, tell the world why and how you love me. Over and over.

i love your wit, and your references ... i never know what you will post, but it usually makes me smile, or wonder. you've always been a favorite, even before i was brave enough to post ...

I like your often unique perspective on things.

Fishy -

you think your getting a private thread, but no - they will soon be talking about hte popes finger, or what actor is doing that actor, or Viagra and boners, or nude camps, or larry harvey, or mortgage offers, or where to buy ice water on the way from Pennsylvania, or the best hotdag they had at the fair.......

We need a Fishy Annotated Thread.
I am always looking up things to see what you're talking about.

gyre; I agree. I spend more time on Wikipedia after reading a Cryptofishist response than for almost any other poster.

Maybe we should call her CrypticFishist instead!

Seriously, Crypto, you always add something relevant to any discussion, especially your snark.

Next year, we have to meet. I had a special message to deliver to you this year and I tried twice but we kept missing each other. It's the kind of message that wants to be delivered in person though so we'll have to wait.

This kind of thread should at least be started by someone other than the "star"... if it should ever be started at all.

Fishy was nice enough to escort me to the Boobie Bar for my first visit. Awesome place and a very nice ladyfish!

Also, I had a delicous filet-o-fish sandwich today at McDonald's. I'm not sure how they made it square, but I loved that too!

Oh, and if someone wants to explain to CGD that this was meant to be silly, not actual ego stroking...he might sleep better at night.

Captain, this was meant to be silly. It was not an actual ego stroking thread. I hope you sleep better tonight.

   too funny ygmir!

It reminded me though that I went to school with a girl named Jennifer Fish. She had seven older brothers and they lived on a farm and raced cars at the drag strip. She was the toughest girl I ever met but I understood why. When we met as adults after I returned to my home turf area, Jennifer had lost the tom boy look but she still had snark enough to repel rattle snakes!

Often when I read one of Crypto's posts, I actually picture Jennifer in my mind because the snark is similar. :D

I love the fact that Crypto's bullshit meter is honed to near perfection, and she's got no problem admitting when she's wrong about something. Also she has a truly great sense of humor all her own.

I actually thought of starting one myself. Badger was one of the first eplayans to really stand out to me, for his brains, for his wit, for his utter ability to cut through some people's nonsense.
