The Norwegians will return to the playa again in 2010!
Part of Terminal City village!

Estonia was a really great place when I was there.........do you have much time there, or, just port call in Tallinn?geospyder wrote:I'll be tasting herring in the Netherlands in May. Also visiting Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Germany and Russia. Hmmm - looks like we're missing Norway.
Yup! I was on the playa this year. Located the area with my GPS. Used a metal detector to pinpoint the exact location, but had to give it up that day due to the heat. Wanted to go back another day, but all of the sudden the time run out. If it's inside the perimeter and not under someones camp, it will be retrieved in 2010.geospyder wrote:Were you on the playa in 2009? If so, did you find the hidden herring?
I'm sure you're gonna have a great time! I try to get at least one geocache in each country I visit. Good luck, Geospyder! Did you find any of the Black Rock Beacon geocoins at Burning Man this year? I found one, and it's just beautiful!geospyder wrote:Current plans are to spend ten days in the Netherlands and then meet some friends from Florida and we'll take a 12 day Baltic cruise. I want to snag a least one geocache in each port if possible.

Yes. No. Even the herrings (or their one member delegation) could not find their dry brethren.geospyder wrote:Were you on the playa in 2009? If so, did you find the hidden herring?
NOOOOOOOOO!Risky wrote:Everyone needs to know that the Herrings highly encourage freedom from clothing.
Feel free to shed your clothing and shake your thang in celebration with them.

Indeed. Nords are the original "Bear"-zerkers.Risky wrote:Everyone needs to know that the Herrings highly encourage freedom from clothing.

Yes, exactly what I meant. It's embarassing when you can't even properly spell your bad puns.Fire_Moose wrote:"Bare"-zerkers ya mean?
