~~~waves to Goathead~~~
Hi Goathead; how was your visit home?
I can remember the Pineapple Mead but there was another one I really liked too. I think it was Peach Wheat Ale. I'm thinking I need to learn how to be a home brewer - you guys make unbelievably good brews.
~~wanders in after fighting dragons all night, waves to pinegranny~~
Howdy, ma'am
Think I'll just take coffee for the road. Heading to church momentarily (quit cackling, I'm making a speech about homelessness) and then I'm off to see a friend. We're gonna pick apples.
Keep the home fires burnin' and I'll see you folks later.
Well winter is almost here...and since I cant ski anymore or for at least a year......(knee).....
Im actually pretty sedated. Maybe that's why I run around like a freak on a leash in the spring....all that pent up energy!
I was thinking about how many things(ART) Both Titwi and I have had the honor of assisting in....
too fun!
The Eplaya bar
The Ramonoff (my first welds)
The Smou
The Space walls for Yuri's circa 2007
The Booby domes/covers/1st yr bar
The Dr. Pepper trailer
The Shiva Vista
Zsu Zsu
The playa frog
The playa frog part duex
And 2 yrs ago, 4 days a week minimum fire practice/fire shows?
Fricken awesome!
And this year we hope to be able to help out with Einn Hammer!
Check out the GOOP thread. I put a bunch of beads on a hat with Goop... so far no problem. Hot glue doesn't work as well.
i've actually been using acrylic gel medium, which is basically plastic, and very strong stuff. but i worry about the parts that have to bend so i can put them on. the pearls have holes for stringing, and copper wire looks great, and i have a bunch of it lying around, so i'll probably do both.
projects, projects! i have 3 in the works already ....
Howdy Sputnik, Littleflower!
Littleflower, I took a few shots of my coffee set up this morning. If you are thinking of a small burner, er stove, there are several available like this one. It lights itself, has a little spark generator.
I went to the Southbay regional, Soulfire, this weekend. Held in a scrub oak hillside on the north end of highway 17. Walk in camping, a lot of steps, and quaint campsites. Not great for a solo camper to connect with other folks however. I feel like the human equivalent of inert ingredients today. Talked to some folks, but didn't find the builder makers I was looking for. Lot's of dance music mainly. Anyway, I enjoyed the coffee and
...hot/cold running water, flush toilets, no dust, cool weather. I never appreciated how clean a damp oak grove is before.
I'm back, once again. damp camping for you too, huh. As I was putting tents away this morning I was bemoaning the fact that we weren't in the nice dry desert.
It's going to be alright.
Much Better thank you!
I got one of those damn Migraines yesterday, and I had a full day at the college fair with Burnerbaby.
I had contacted Velvetina and her daughter needed to go too, so Velvetina and I sat at the Lil' Waldorf and had Baileys and coffee,the kids went down to the fair, then we adults ran up here for a re-coup on my medicinal relief.
After all was said and done, I had to break down and take the strong pill from the doc, take a nap.
Woke up feeling all better!
I hate taking pharmaceuticals.
ikky.
good morning!
love that little burner elorrum! i gotta get one of those ... i have the stovetop espresso machine already, and prefer it to the coffee press, as it makes drier grounds that are easier to throw away.
sorry to hear about the headache, pinemom ..... i hate taking drugs too, but my life is so much better since discovering excedrin migraine ... stupid headaches/nausea always lasted 24- 36 hours without it, what a waste of life ...!
breakfast pizza!
