Hi Wine buff, First off your double cross posting.....
Take a deep breath!

Stay in your own introduce thread and dont introduce yourself in everybody elses introduce thread.
(not meant to be mean in any way, shape or form!) Now...I did reply on YOUR introduce thread about valuable reading.
Start reading!!! Immediately, so it all feels perfectly natural by June.

Lurk! No really, watch for topics that have questions you need answers to that arnt in the Survival guide and first timers guide.

Go into the Open discussion area now....and start up conversations with eplayians....there are tons of topics in here.

And remember eplaya can be snarky...dont take anything personally!!!!
Learn to let water roll off your back.

...and the best gift of all.....LOOSE ALL EXPECTATIONS!!!!!

So not kiddin!

You will find not only your trip to the desert to be wonderous, you'll find different area's of your life will get easier as your expectations of others vanishes.

be well and start doing really weird things!

you cant really begin to expect to know/understand everything about the playa before youve spent time on it.

plan for a night dancing through the sunrise, a day curled up in a hammock, a wide variey of culinary delights, BACON, plenty of fire, and to throw any and all preplanned schedules out the window.

Finally, begin planning ho youll manage to do it all again the next year :D
