Deb: She's one of the original Eplaya Bar campers. Came out here all the way from England, by herself. Well, with a bottle of Pim's. Laugh and a half. If you wanted to look for her contributions to the thread, it's in 2006.

You're so right, ygmir. Blame it on me, I'm too serious for my own good and it's rubbed off on the lot of you.

We need to rescue the furnishings from the other bar, if'n we're not going to return there. I noticed that GH was working on the fembot the other day. Maybe that was a hint.

Let's go get the jukebox...

I'll just give it a hipcheck...and turn up the volume.

oh and I'm drinking a glass of red wine. I won a bottle at the event I was at on Friday evening. I'm glad I didn't pay for it - it's not that good but still it's a glass of wine!

Oh and just so you know not to buy it - Wayne Gretzky can play hockey like no one's business but he can't make wine to save his soul.

being it's turning to winter, how about some fortification?

For me, and, this is just my opinion Deb, I'd rather leave what's in "the bar", in the bar..........that stuff was not mine, was put there by others long before me..........and, so, well, it seems to belong there. It has it's own traditions, and, to me, deserves to keep them intact.

I also realize, I only speak for myself, surely, I don't propose to impose my feelings on you. You should do as you please.

That said, I'd love a juke (perhaps, a gramophone that magically plays CD's), in here, perhaps a "Trapeze of Inverted Titillating Suspension", a "Lounger Inviting Carnal Knowledge", and so on.........

Just some thoughts..........

That sounds like a pretty good movie.

Thanks for leaving the shots, pinegranny. That's just what I need.

Can't remember what's on the Fuck thread but I'll check in a minute. Just finished doing my public duties today - laying a wreath at the cenotaph.

Time to get tipsy, maybe. Well, I'll have one shot anyway. I much prefer company when I'm drinking! Sorry I missed your little shindig here earlier.

Oh and I agree with you about leaving the bar the way it is. I found a new juke box to bring in but it was the idea of the jukebox that I was borrowing. Anyway, I much prefer ygmir's gramaphone. And I look forward with anticipation to all the accoutrements for the new bar. Love the Art Deco decor, it's delightfully uplifting in a way. Strange how design can change a place.

What will we do for a barn for DaMule though? Is there such a thing as an Art Deco barn? Let me see what google has to offer in that respect.
