When Star Trek was created though I don't recall it being so bad for its time. Its looking back at that we see the flaws after 40 years of improved technology. Star Trek was good at creating a different mindset for how a world could operate - no money, no gender discrimination (in jobs anyway) and a multi-racial team on the bridge.

In the late 60s those ideas were revolutionary so maybe we looked past the poor acting, the bad fight scenes, etc. because we were engrossed in the world that Roddenberry created.

You're only defending that Canadian Ham, Shatner!

It had to be said.

If you want to compare Star Trek, what else could you compare it too, other than,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Lost in space???
I don't post things because I believe that they are the absolute truth. I post them because I believe that they should be considered.

I like that , Simon.
Reminds me of the vocal harmonics from the 20s.
I always thought more could be done with that.
