Love that one.
Also, Silk and Steel by R.L. Wilson which chronicles women at arms historically.

Oh good, you've got the fire going. I've been wanting to try one of these out. Anybody care for some bread on a stick? A stiff buiscuit dough is supposed to work well.

And now we have a new euphamism, don't be talking about stiff buiscuit dough now. Still, a stick is a stick and a fillable cavity.... well. Most things are either one or the other: innie, or outie.

Chef Elorrum has a nice ring to it!

Those bread sticks look interesting. Bread is an almost non-existent commodity at Burning Man. I don't seem to miss it when I'm there but I like to get a sandwich at Empire when I leave. For some reason, that tastes really good.

Is anyone around for a drink? I'm thinking of a mellow glass of wine.

I'm around Deb, but drifting in and out. Wine would be good, but I'm going to go with a rum and coke tonight.
It's going to be alright.

I'm OK tonight I suppose.

Thanks for the drink, that's how I like it, with a bit of lime.

Anything good happening with you these days?

Had a nice dinner with Taymar on Thursday night. We usually get together about once a month to get caught up.

Then I had a productive counseling session on Friday. Seemed to take a load off anyway.

Nothing else much is new. How about with you?

Glad to hear Friday went well.

I've been having a lot of kid time lately, so that's been nice. We're playing some games on the Wii tonight, which is why I am in and out. Fortunately the car is holding up (knock wood), which is good. Have plans to get together with some friends next weekend to celebrate their kitchen finally being done.
It's going to be alright.

Don't take time away from the kiddos for this! You've got a nice couple of kids and they need all the time they can get with you.

Wii sounds like fun. I'll have to get one of those.

Tennis, magicmarty! You've refreshed an old image I had of California - everyone playing tennis all the time in the warm sunshine. Is it a sport that many indulge in, I wonder? We have public courts here but they are in such a state of disrepair as to be unplayable. And every spring they get worse from heaving from the frost!

I'll join you in some coffee, ygmir. I know what you mean about moving slowly. I really need to get one of those Wii games that Sputnik has. I was drinking wine while he was engaging in the games with his children. Now I'm paying the price. Headachy and slow this morning.

back to basics today. steel cut oats, and Nina Simone. I was looking for music, and found some great claymation! Good expression. This doesn't show that she is the piano player as well.

I think, man when you look at the price of walk in theaters, it does make you think twice!!!

No, I'm reading outside the bar and bringing in reports of what 've read. and it's depressing that the only conversation that gambit engendered is a scolding.
