My name is Emory. I am extremely excited about entertaining the possibility of traveling out to Burning Man 2010 this coming summer. I am a musician and would like to find a awy to play at Burning Man this year.

Hi Emory,

The best method to finding a way to play at Burning Man is to bring your instrument. I have no doubt that you will find a place to play. Center Camp, the corner of the street, a stage that you help build with the people you meet on your first day. The possibilities are wide open for you since there is no sanctioned stage or event schedule. Its all participant content.

I used to live near Asheville. Still come back from time to time. Speaking of which, its about time to go see how Jack of The Wood is doing. If you’re into music and in Asheville, then I'd guess that you've heard of this place.

Just bring your instrument, you'll find a place to play. Might want to see about how to protect it from the dust.

Read the survivor's guide on the main page and you'll get a pretty good idea of what the event is like.

Worse than the dust, apparently is the aridity. You'll want to search the site, and maybe not bring your best instrument.

There's a ton of burners in Asheville. Some of them, this year, had the infamous Gypsy Queen trowler boat. I'll be up there for SantaCon in a few weeks.

Will the Gypsy Qween be going this year? I am and I want in! I could only help build last year, and was bummed I could not go. See you at Transformus first!
Cloud 9 gets all the attention, but Cloud 8 is closer, less crowded, and has a much better view.
