Welcome to eplaya.

Check out the search tool, it works real well to find specific questions that may have already been discussed.

Also you'll want to read and reread the survival guide.

Greetings DanusLight :D

Must resist snarky comments about screen name, must resist!

Reading is encouraged. Lurking is not. This is a full participatory forum. Violators are sent to our resident Barbarian for a good paddling.

Read the first timers and survival guide. Also gads of web sites out there on the net with tips and tricks for the burn. It's gonna be a long winter, so get crackin :D
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Meh, there's plenty of lurkers. The scary dust sharks scare off a lot of people. Or something.

Ground cover? In our shade structure we use billboard vinyl, then under the tents, on the vinyl, carpet scraps, and in the kitchen area a sisal rug. Retains dust like mad. But then we have a trailer to haul it all in and out.

This is our trailer, before we cover it. The top three rolls are rugs, the bottom one the poles for our carport, rolled in vinyl, which becomes the ground cover.

Then again, some people don't bother, just a little mat outside the tent to keep the dust down when they take off their shoes.

Brownies? I love you. And I'm remarkably easy to find on the playa, when I'm in camp.
