ImageMathematically speaking, the existence of a nontrivial field theory
typically requires that there be an "ultraviolet" or UV fixed point in the
momentum-space renormalization

"The Affective Fallacy is a confusion between the poem and its results
(what it is and what it does), a special case of epistemological skepticism
[ . . . which . . .] begins by trying to derive the standard of criticism from
the psychological effects of the poem and ends in impressionism and
relativism [with the result that] the poem itself, as an object of specifically
critical judgment, tends to disappear."

The indicative mood or evidential mood is used for factual
statements and positive beliefs.

Image
In grammar, the subjunctive mood is a verb mood typically used in dependent clauses to express wishes,
commands, emotion, possibility, judgment, opinion, necessity, or statements that are contrary to fact at present.

The Greek words sophos or sophia had the meaning of "wise" or "wisdom"
since the time of the poet Homer, and originally connoted anyone with
expertise in a specific domain of knowledge or witchcraft.

“ We suppose ourselves to possess unqualified scientific knowledge of a
thing, as opposed to knowing it in the accidental way in which the sophist
knows, when we think that we know the cause on which the fact depends,
as the cause of that fact and of no other, and, further, that the fact could
not be other than it is. Now that scientific knowing is something of this sort
is evident — witness both those who falsely claim it and those who
actually possess it, since the former merely imagine themselves to be,
while the latter are also actually, in the condition described. Consequently
the proper object of unqualified scientific knowledge is something which
cannot be other than it is. â€

Self-kindness:
Self-compassion entails being warm towards oneself when encountering
pain and personal shortcomings, rather than ignoring them or hurting
oneself with self-criticism.

Common humanity:
Self-compassion also involves recognizing that suffering and personal
failure is part of the shared human experience.

Mindfulness:
Self-compassion requires taking a balanced approach to one's negative
emotions so that feelings are neither suppressed nor exaggerated.
Negative thoughts and emotions are observed with openness, so that they
are held in mindful awareness. Mindfulness is a non-judgmental, receptive
mind state in which individuals observe their thoughts and feelings as they
are, without trying to suppress or deny them. Conversely, mindfulness
requires that one not be "over-identified" with mental or emotional
phenomena, so that one suffers aversive reactions. This latter type of
response involves narrowly focusing and ruminating on one's negative emotions.

Practical application of information visualization involves selecting,
transforming and representing abstract data in a form that facilitates
human interaction for exploration and understanding. Important aspects
of information visualization are dynamics of visual representation and the
interactivity. Strong techniques enable the user to modify the visualization
in real-time, thus affording unparalleled perception of patterns and
structural relations in the abstract data in question.
