Sometimes I use it to erase something I've written but probably shouldn't post. Sometimes you erase it to check yourself. Sometimes it can be interpreted to indicate you're biting your tongue because of the complete lack of cluelessness that some people exhibit. Sometimes there's a combination of the above involved.I"ve never understood that " ... " thing
Regardless of the reason, when deleting a post that you've sent to a thread you have to insert something in the way of characters in its place. Three periods seems to be the minimum number of characters allowed.

The Ego is a funny beast. It's ridden with a tassled saddle, adorned with
jewels soo worn they feel as felt. It hands you many reins, steered by
none. It sits in the middle of it's comfortzone, tiny next to the vast horizon
it cannot see beyond.
myself, i'm indebted to intelligentsia... have been since i was small and not born in a manger... would've been a little less indebted then...
a little...

let's not compare oranges to apple... labor for labor, you ever make soap?... bet you savor the clean...Acclimatization occurs in a short time, (days to weeks) and within one
organism's lifetime (compare adaptation).

I actually looked up the ellipses on line recently, because I like them as well. Turns out, apparently, that they are used as a marker when we all know what comes next (or came before.) Mostly for yanking quotes I think. I use them as a *figure it out for yourself* marker, sort of "you know what comes next (or at least you should.)" Maybe even a "goes without saying" symbol.[/i]

I can see why you would be frustrated.
However I know that in 2009 there were plenty of tribal people making money off re-selling discounted tickets, I think that violates the intention of giving the discounted tickets in the first place. They should keep the price at a level where it isn't easy to resell and make a profit.

So what? Their whole world (and backyard) is invaded yearly. We are not talking about an affulent community who lives on the rez for godsakes. Its prolly close to truth to say there are some burners who spend more going to BM than the average yearly rez wage.
I'm only suprized the rez has not organized and offered services (water, beer, etc) outside the playa. They'd make a killing - good for them I say.

todays governers are apt to risk falling into a large neural investment of arguement prolongation.
these are our 'representatives'... our 'fiscal dependants/benefactors'
life and nature is innoculated from the divisive powers of names, but for the activeness of peoples intent
here, the intent of radical inclusiveness is served
the experience is available
you could just as well embrace the duality and petition for higher base pricing for the rich to offset the poor's participation
but then the rich are apt to participate and enrich the city in other ways

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I wonder if it has to do with where the res. land is?
Probably has to happen, (with no permit) on res. land.
They'd make a killing, with a semi truck, loaded with certain supplies, parked near the entrance, or at 12 mile...........

They sell fireworks on the Walker River Indian Reservation, just outside of Schurz. I am really surprised that all of these industrious and enterprising Piautes haven't taken up selling explosives to burners. They'd make a killing. I'm going to stop for an Indian Taco anyway so getting a shot at some mortars would be a bonus! Everybody wins!
