Oh, snow does make a sound when it falls. It's just that you can't hear it unless all the birds and insects are either dead or flown away (which I would do if I had wings...).

you'll need to check the local laws, but, as long as they were married for a certain period of time, unless he writes otherwise, it's all hers to decide, or, keep. Make sure she doesn't get overwhelmed and give the farm away, just to make things "right"......
no quick decisions......take lots of time.
She'll need support in this, especially if they "gang up" on her.......
