Fuck. My poor doggie is sick today. She sits by my bed early today and grunts and bumps into the side of the bed to wake me as she usually at 7:30 am. I let her outside into the cold, and by the time I sit down at my desk she is scratching at the front door.
Later she sets her head on my knee as I'm sitting and looks up with what I swear is a sad look. She usually just grunts but I know she wants out again. I notice she's heaving up something when I look out the frontdoor window. I check her bowl in the kitchen and notice she hasn't touched her food. She soon returns and I let her in.
Later I hear her heaving in the kitchen. She has left a pile of grassball in front of the fridge when she returns to lay by the gas heater. Apparently she has made herself heave by eating grass shoots. Smart dog.
I clean it up and give her some praise. I let her up onto the bed and she's been resting on my pillow all day. It was 20F outside this morning and now it's 46F. I just finished a bowl of ravioli and tried to give her the remaining soup but she won't even turn her head. I didn't feel like eating breakfast today myself, maybe we ate something bad yesterday( perhaps bad eggs or bad taco meat- she usually eats what I don't finish.). FUCK, I feel bad for her. I guess I'm too attached to her, but she's my pooch, DAMMIT>

a little doe came up and looked in the window bout an hour ago.. i uncovered the mulch bin.. the top laer is dry grass.

Ah fuck...Old guy, here's a simple recipe that my vets have been referring to me and My German Sheppards for decades!
(German Sheppards have BAD stomach issues)
Make basic white rice with non-seasoned hamburger.
Make the bland white rice according to directions omitting salt.
Cook up a hamburger patty or 1-2 cups of ground beef.
Not overly cooked just cooked past pink. you can make up to a 3 day amount, but dont refridgerate.
serve that to your dog, helps coat tummy no preservatives helps calm their natural system....
and Fuck, its snowing again, but fuck...its WARMER now!!! YAY!

This freezing rain has driven the vermin into my kitchen, fuck.
A mouse made a hole in the corner baseboard, I plugged it with a ball of steelwool for a temporary fix. I also found piss-ant scouts on my stovetop. I cleaned it off real good and lit off all the gas burners. I guess they were looking for grease.
I see my bloodpressure doc on Monday for a new prescription, I think he wants to give me a stronger BP med ( maybe he can give me some free samples). I see my mental health doc on Jan.4th to get a checkup on my Paxil20. I see my state rehab. person on new years eve for employment help (I finished that Application to Interveiw class).
On the bad side , my H.E.A.P. coverage on my heat ran out. I owe PG&E $26.90, AT&T $13.95, water/sewer $73.92, and Netzero on the creditcard $6.95. Next month I owe the recycle company $72.00 for trash collection for 3 months till April. My assets include $8.00 cash and less than a quarter tank of gas. I really need to find a job.
Last year I put everything on the creditcard and settled up by selling my Harley last April. I can't do that this year and will just let them cut service. The Salvation Army said they'd help me only after I got a quit service notice. I can't reapply for H.E.A.P. funding till September (every other year program- not an entitlement). I can't apply for S.S.I. until Feb. 2013.
I ran out of medication yesterday. I'm going to pay my creditcard bill with my $8.00. $6.95 plus $1.00 for a money order at the grocery store = $7.95. I'm going to sell some cans and bottles tomorrow to get a stamp at the postoffice. 39 cents plus 5 cents = 44 cents for a stamp. Anything over I'll use to buy gas to drive to the doc on Monday.
On the good side I get $200.00 a month in foodstamps/ EBT card. So I got food, if only there was a way to use food to pay my utilities... I've thought of buying a box of apples and selling them in front of the postoffice but I'm afraid of being arrested for being an unlicensed vendor. I've been thinking of applying for general assistance in January.
Any ideas out there for changing food into money?

Penny pinching, dumpster diving, using Freecycle and Craigslist free items, recycling to survive, etc... Even choosing between medications and keeping credit rating up. Just call me crazy.

Even 10 wheel drive will slide on the fucking ice. Forecast is for another 6-10 inches of snow today. At least it's coming straight down instead of blowing sideways. Tonight's party is only 6 miles away. Should be interesting getting to it.

I'm still sitting here at home... I was supposed to be at work, and I was even supposed to give the boss a ride to work too... but the whole goddamm road is solid ice. I could make it in my Burning Man truck, a 4x4 crew-cab dually, come hell or high water
but although it's drivable it's suffering from a flat cam, and I don't like running it like that.
It's a fuel-thirsty monster to begin with, but running that shitty I think I'd burn more in gas getting to work in it than I'd make for being there!
