lol last time i went roller skating i dropped bang! on my sitz bone and sat there for a good 3 minutes, wondering if i would ever be able to walk again! but what fun!

Thank you, magicmarty. I love ballroom dancing. It's great exercise and reminds me of a good time in my youth. I was raised in a village on the north shore of Lake Erie where the largest dance floor in North America was at the Stork Club. I danced to Guy Lombardo, Duke Ellington, Harry James and Tommy Dorsey among others. It was like I was able to snatch a piece of magic from the 40s but it happened at the end of the 70s. It was magical!

Pinemom and littleflower, you girls are gonna have to teach me roller skating, I learned on ice skates but I think that's quite different. I took figure skating and ice dance lessons for about 10 years but I never tried roller skating!!!

Ballroom dancing, I think maybe this spring we should take a couple lessons for fun!!!

Mister jellyfish and his lovely wife did a couple last yr. I know he said it was a blast!
