Then here's to getting sloppy drunk! For some people, coming up with a single positive thought is a huge effort.

Such a positive thought marathon would be the snot out of the usual moping, doom-and-gloom reports. Those are cheap and easy to come by, and lead but to the grave. :D

It's a tradition with me to do one big house-cleaning before the New Year - whether the place needs it or not. ;)

Here is a continuation of the three word thread post from this morning. The shop vacuum in the garage wasn’t doing its job very well yesterday. Saw the filter was extremely dirty. Too fine to just bang it clean. I decided to use the house vacuum to clean the shop vacuum filter. Problem (unknown at the time) was that the bag wasn’t seated correctly and the dirt didn’t just go into the bag. Luckily the house vacuum is semi high end and has a number of filters. But they became completely clogged saving the motor but greatly reducing the suction as noticed this morning when I tried to clean up the spilled coffee grounds. This is all the result of Burning Man. It was Playa dust that clogged the shop vacuum in the first place. Two positives – One, both vacuums are now clean and working correctly and two, the garage odors now remind me of the Playa.

Well the storm is getting worse here and I think the fire went out after the firemen arrived. They were a bit of a distraction, to be honest!

It's snowing here - very light - but snow none the less. Not supposed to snow until Wednesday.

I wonder if the flames could be used to keep this storm at bay?

Wanders over nerr YG's fire and pours a cup of warmth ... joins Deb, Anti M and Simon on the mahogany bench for the group snuggle and comunal warmth. Bet some others will be here soon ... too good to miss this cold December morn.

Yes communal warmth - there's something to be said for that. I think I'll work toward having a cuddle-bunny for next winter. These virtual cuddles are nice but hardly effective in the face of a cold winter.

Wonder if I could find one to share the snow shoveling with?

Looks like I'll have to do that this morning. Wasn't supposed to snow again until Wednesday. If I stall off long enough maybe it will melt - yah right!

I don't actually mind snow shoveling - it's cheaper and more effective than tithing at a gym! I'd just rather have someone to do it with. :D

Snuggies in the Booth!!!

G'mornin, yup we got 2 fresh inches of snow last night, too.

Really starting to get excited, me and my co-conspirator for Wednesday night at the BBar....are starting the rough draft drawing of dreams for its look!
Yeah!

We found that by having little pods of our Boobarians to take a night and run with it is great, everyone is working the bar on one night, and free to go play the rest of the week!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Blunders in, thrusting feet toward the fire.
Better count my toes this morning. 8, 9, 10. They're all there.

~~~mixes up the hot cocoa, adds marshmallows and saunters over to the corner booth~~~
anyone for a nightcap? I'm exhausted from over 2 hours of shoveling snow today so I'm off to bed shortly. 'Course it's midnight here while you folks are probably just finishing the dinner dishes.
