Hello all!
Last year was my first burn and I am SO excited for this year! Can't wait to be back on the playa :D I'd love to meet some new burner buddies in Colorado (or anywhere else, for that matter)....I'll be going with some friends from Fort Collins & Denver this year and am looking forward to adding to that group!

Check out apogaea it happens every June. their website is apogaea.com, but it seems that it has be usurped be a wellness website, you can go to coloradoburn.ing.com and find apogaea there. ther are also a lot of parties and gatherings posted there. apo is fantastic and is three days with an effigy burn on saturday night. two years ago the squid was set alight, last year it was a volcano. All in all a fantastic time where the only dust is that which is left on your gear from last year!

:shock: A coworker and 3x burner maybe 4x was extolling the virtures of this event called "Burning Man."

After much research, pontification, marrital dissolusion, browsing the BM site every day for months, and a six pack of micro brew it was decided.

hi Madgirl, welcome!

the main distribution list for Colorado remains the Yahoo group Colorado-BM even though there is a newer, snazzier site coloradoburn.ing.com. For some reason, no one really uses the ning site.

Apogaea will begin a week later this year, so set your calendar for June 10-13th. Because of growth, we are currently looking for a bigger site, so location is to be announced.

It really is a fun event. Dont miss it.
