KENTUCKY
if any one is from Kentucky or the surrounding area plz let me know about any regional burns that may be happening because i have done some research and have not found anything around this area.Or if anyone knows of any organized groups or wants to organize one for Kentucky,
Kentucky has a burn. And the burners who do it. They are active in other SE regionals.
I believe it was called the Hillbilly Burn.
When I need to find something, I use this pretty cool website called "google.com." When I entered "Kentucky burners" here are some of the first results:

Hi Dylan,
Yep, Karine and I are on here with some regularity. Some Kentucky folk lurk here periodically as well.
Koi is pretty active in the northern part of Kentucky near Cincinnati, and occasionally in Louisville area. The burners I’ve met here are spread out and in isolated pockets, with Louisville being the most condensed of those pockets. Some circles don’t even overlap for whatever reason.
My activity on the board will ramp up as the year progresses, as well.

WHOOT! You beat me to posting about it.
There will be art, fun and good deeds aplenty. Proceeds from the works donated will go to the Burners Without Borders medical flights to Haiti. There's numerous terrific Louisville area artists who have donated pieces for this event, from small to large. If you're in the area drop on by. If you need directions or other information, PM me and I'll get right on it.
And if you're way far away, there's ways for you to help too.
Read here for more info on the BWB Haiti project.

I want to give a big thanks to the local Burners who turned out to put their back into the fun-draiser for BWB, including fciron, cricket, Mike, Gabe, Grittle, Chabba (via his wonderful glass work donations), Kevin, 123-NotIt, Jakob, and last but not least, dylan_ky and Gray for driving so far to bring the donation jars.
We had a wonderful artist turnout and a large crowd for the most of the evening. And without all of you, it would not have been possible for it to be such a success.
We raised a net total, as of this afternoon, of $2232.39 and there’s still a couple of donations left to come in. And this on a cold, snowy night with less than a week to get the word out.
Thank so much and know that your efforts are going straight to BWB on Monday morning.
