That's a nice cup of coffee there pinemom! Good morning. Rainy, windy, thunder here. We'll sell a lot of raincoats today, and then it will be quiet mainly and I'll get a whole lot done. They canceled my overnight shifts, YAY! I finished my train sound circuit board last night, but something's wrong... it just goes, beep beep beep beep beep and I can speed it up and slow it down. It worked for a little while, pretty simple really, just static noise that can be sped up or down, with a cute little whistle sound as well. I think I can fix it. I love trains too. Don't have the room for them though. My uncle had a full layout in his storm cellar under the deck. It was magical. Everytime I'd visit, I'd be out in the backyard trying to figure out how to get those big doors open. I remember the smell of it, musty with that ozone tinge.

Mornin' ... ready for some coffe to get me going this AM. Heavy rain and I got a long drive ahead of me.

I had Lionel trains when I was a kid. Never seemed to get running real well. It was an electric locomotive and I always felt that it wasn't a real train becaus it wan't a steam locomotive. It's ruined my entire life being deprived that way as a kid. If I still had it it might be worth something more today.

Rain really coming down hard now, but fortunately, not the trees. Hope we don't lose power. High tide may mean some local flooding at the bottom of the hill right near the houseboat community. I guess that where the line "Whatever floats your boat" got started.

    hey there Marty......drive careful.......

we're getting high winds.........the trees are moving maybe 15 feet or more, at the tops......they're 100' plus pines.
I'm hoping they don't "lever" over.......limbs and detritus are falling out of the oaks......

I'm thinkin it's a good day to get out my feathers and wax.....see if I can reach the sun.

YG, I'm driving up in your direction, just past Sacramento. I plan to be careful and hope the winds are not too bad.
