Lumber Supply in the area?

Postby ryanw79 » Mon Jan 18, 2010 3:18 pm

Does anyone know where burning man gets their lumber? You know, the wood our favorite man is made of? I need certified or salvaged wood from the region.

Any lumber supply near the playa or Reno. I'm looking for certified or salvaged wood, but I can check that myself.

Phone the Burning Man office, ask for DPW, and ask them about their vendors.

Many lumber yards sell "cull" lumber in large units......usually quite cheap.

Think the org used to buy from Logan Lumber and Home Depot, but you might want to phone them up if you need leads on a vendor for a large quantity.

I know that there's at least one in Berkeley, but I don't know if that's "in the area."
