Burning Man is NOT responsible for any left over wives wandering the playa following the event.

Q.
I hear that parking is a real problem. Is it true that cars aren't allowed at Burning Man?

A.
The answer is yes. Due to the death of a friend, Michael Fury, smashing his Harley Davidson into a parked Lexus at the Rave Camp, along with the unfortunate incident involving a semi-tractor trailer transporting the Burning Man T-shirts, plowing through a Rainbow Gathering encampment, in 1996.
As a result of incidents like this, a valet parking system came into effect last year.
Burning Man Parking is an inexpensive alternative to the car problem in a desert that has only limited room for parking.
A mere $60 a day, you can safely park your vehicle, unmolested. You're then given a map, where you proceed to hike 5 miles into the festival. Many enjoyed this, being another part of the Burning Man Experience. Others died.

Is this bull or real?

Is it all that hard to change campsites? On the page mentioned I saw this bit..
People tell me there are a lot of drugs at Burning Man. Now It's not like I have anything against drugs, I've been known to take a good "toke" off a Bidi, here and there, but is it OK to just "say no" when offered drugs by someone I might happen to have my 'eyes set on?'

Yes. This year at Burning Man, there is an exclusive "Drug Free Zone" located 50 miles south of the Black Rock desert. Camp Reno is a fine place to camp, with many fine amenities of home, inexpensive buffets, and good, quality entertainment.
After looking at the picture below that quote, I realized that I'm already a few miles away from that very spot! Not that there's anything wrong with being sober, but this will be my first burn and if this is one of the spots I'd have to remain at, I don't see the point. So, how hard is it really? Do I have to apply anwhere to pick up camp and move?

No, You don't have to apply to move your camp anywhere as long as you do it during the night to keep the hoards of underage underfed crack addicted abandoned children from coming up and begging for your unused foods- the BLM Law enforcement will be watching you with their night vison binoculars in case the kids show up and club them into submission allowing you to escape to a drug free zone!

Actually, you might want to stay in Camp Reno because of all the years of people pissing their drugs on the playa many burner get a contact high wearing no shoes- it has made bringing drugs in unnecessary and safer.
So stay in Camp Reno if a foot contact high is not for you. Alot of burners end up there anyway for a good shower, some quality canned food in the Buffets (after eating cambells canned soups with instant rice for a week) and some really good entertainment instead of the half-assed acts taking place all week long in BM. After a week there, many burners have claim that the ringing in their ears from all the too-loud Techno music had finally stopped!

Have a nice burn!
