Sorry about dashing off like that - work and all that stuff, ya know...

Yeah, there is a message... Maybe I'm supposed to liberate BRC from the evils of the LLC (the snakey hairy-handed demon - LOL) by enlisting the help of someone (cool, powerful, younger, prolly burner) to baptize it (create a radical psychic transformation?) it in a deluge of some kind (not dust... hmmm... karmatic goodwill?)

Or maybe it was just a dream. As dreams go it was on the + scale of the ones I usually have. The sad ones are the ones I don't remember when I wake up. The good ones are those that stick with me for a while, or the ones that turn out to be Deja-Vous, either for kewl stuff or as a warning. Even better when they have something I have to puzzle out or think thru for a message (prolly like this).

Coulda just been entertainment, too.
Those aren't bad.

The one that still hits me tho... I was like 9 years old. I woke up for some reason, went to crawl into bed with the folks. Fell asleep, dreamed about some friends, superrealistic. Closed my eyes, was back at home. Closed my eyes, was back with my friends. Happened about 5 or 6 times. BOTH were as real as the other.

My guess? I was psychically linked, either with someone else, or myself in an alternate reality. Get those "alternate" dreams occasionally, like I *know* that it's just a time/space shift to another physicality. Wonder if it hits the other "me" as well? heh heh heh...

Howdy winebuff - snowing for the last hour or so here in Sparks. Actually sticking this time. Might have to use the shovel in the morning.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

hiya Geo. Snow possible tomorrow here. I am just happy to be around my granddaughter. May try to hit the zoo tomorow.

Sounds like fun in Sparks with the snow. Would it snowin Reno then? Not sure how far it is from there. would be cool to see the playa with snow on it. Do u go during the winter to check it out?

Do u meet up with burners in Reno before the burn?

Reno/Sparks blend into each other. Haven't been to the playa during the winter. Last year was my virgin year and as you'll find out, you will be overwhelmed. I've met a number of local burners but haven't actually connected with any specifically. Hope to before BM.

Back from the office. Raining all day. Arizona doesn't know what the heck you others do with all this wet stuff on a regular basis. All the washes and roads are flooded. Had to have poor bobby towed home from the job today after work...

Here's a picture for you all to laugh, and enjoy, and keep an eye out for the red "Decepticon" out on the playa (aka my beetle) which I have decided to take, after much deliberation...

its sort of like a giant fly trap, so pretty, and white, and flat, untracked, just trying to lure you out there.

if I am in half way decent shape maybe I will get a picture of what it looks like when I get off work in the morning.

This was about last March.

Pinemom, try intense light for as long as you can stand it, even with your eyes closed.
Some of us find it works better with full spectrum.
I can help you find the right bulbs for that.

Was at the Jelly Fish galley last night for a BM party for the artists and us volunteers. Good gang of about 100 souls or so. Great art ideas bubbling about. Good to see many playa buddies.

My lovely Willie made us some great split pea soup that really hit the spot this cold night. Happy to see WB with her granddaughter in Boise doing the Grandma thing. I guess that YGMIR is hibernating for a bit.

Looks like we have a sunny couple of days coming up, so we'll get in a bit of tennis this weekend. It really nice to see the blue sky for a change. Gyre, met a guy last night who spent the last 3 weeks or so in Memphis and confirmed your reports of the cold there. Was thinking about you. Said that it had warmed up considerably.

See you all in the AM for coffee and BS. Got to go back and watch Venus at the Aussie Open now.

sleep good Marty! Want to hear about the party later.
Now that I got the 3yr old down time for grandma :)

Too pooped though. Time for bed soon. I told my granddaughter today I was pooped and she kept asking me if I had poop in my pants. Maybe....

It's been t-shirts and open windows lately, but it's getting back to normal now.

Had a chance to work on the car finally and still no fuel pressure, so the next step will tell me if I need a fuel pump or have lost power somewhere.
