Mona is finished grinding and moaning. Coffee must be done. Now for my default world routine. Coffee and the morning paper - if you can call what's left of the RGJ a paper anymore. OK OK I'll try to be more positive - after the coffee. Semi tired - my granddaughter in TX spent the night in ER. They think she has MSRA. Nope not. That's some nasty stuff.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

wow Geo, where is the MRSA located. Our daughter got MRSA on the back of her ankle. She was Go-Go dancing up at the tahoe clubs, and the money that they shove down their boots, well thats where we think she got it?
After about 4 different types of Anti-biotics and about 4 months it finally went away.
Horrible stuff that MRSA is!

My daughter and her family are stationed in Wichita Falls, TX. My granddaughter is 16 so who knows where she picked it up from. Started as a large boil on one arm - her arm nipple as she called it. They went in and had it lanced and cleaned. A few hours later one appeared on her leg. That was last night. She's home now and seems to be OK. The doctors said that he had treated a couple cases in the last few days. Stay away from Wichita Fallspinemom wrote:wow Geo, where is the MRSA located. Our daughter got MRSA on the back of her ankle. wow I hope she will recover quickly. Just flew back home from Boise. Work seems like a vacation compared to running after a 3yr old all daygeospyder wrote:My daughter and her family are stationed in Wichita Falls, TX. Oh JFC... I was stationed at Shepard for a while - ya know there were good things about that place, and bad things... Problem is, being a NATO training base there's people from all over going to school there... MRSA is a NASTY infection - will send healing thoughts yer way, 'K?
Otherwise... How about a cocktail for the evening commute??

(Drops down from the rafters with a bottle of scotch)

This seems an appropriate drink for Burns Day.
(digs for some low-ball glasses... sets them on the bartop along with ice)
*Pour*Pour*Pour*Pour*Pour*Pour*
Should be enough to go ‘round.
Holy Moly!!! BBSue!!! How are you?!?
