re: the little van. All fucking good points Pinemom. I don't think I'll be able to afford one in any case. This is the first year in the US for that model, so there aren't any used ones on the market yet. Good gas mileage for the volume though. It looks like they'll be able to repair my car in any case... I had an interesting day, going from "Fuck! I have to get another car" to "Wow, what kind of car should I get?" still I'm thinking CARGO and maybe it's time to fucking jump and get a van. We'll see. As to taking a new car. It'll get as dirty as a used one, and that doesn't bother me much. I think of the playa more in terms of the trauma of taking a "clean" car.

Yeah, well, I told her she could "have a few drinks" while watching a movie or two while keeping the cats company, and if she wanted food she could eat out of the pantry. Turns out my frozen food that is special for me and Larry because of our allergies got munched up too. I didn't point out what not to eat, because she said she wasn't likely to have meals here. I was the one who asked of she could spend one or two nights, again, for the cats.

Bill her? She isn't working, lives with her "boys" and I do like her. No way she can pay me a fucking dime, unless she returns her fee. So I have to wonder what good billing her would do. And to make matters worse, she says "we'll see if we can fix it!" As if that makes it better, when the point is that fixing my couch shouldn't be on the table at all.
