i paid $20 for mine at target.

what kind of tents are you guys using?

i imagine the larger the tent the more wind it will catch.

i use a tiny 2 man dome tent. it's really only for 1 thing.... and that's not sleeping.

I expect to attend by myself in 2010 so I want a tent I can put up myself. I found these 10 by 10 "tent" inserts that work with those ez pop up vender tents. I put it all togther in my drive way and was pretty easy.

these also have floors so no standing in the sand or having it blow under the tent.

I plan on putting one of these next to my 12 by 18 shade structure.

If anyone knows of a commercial tent that has a floor I would like to know. So far I haven't found one that is really sealed.

Beware... That sounds like a huge "sail" I had a crappy EZ up that got demolished by the wind. Those side panels sound like they'd increase the effect. Maybe try it out someplace really windy before you set it up on the playa.

There's at least one thread already (started by me) on taking an EZ Up.

In addition to input on that thread, comments on my blog and personal conversations with others who tried it, don't do it.

I was actually thinking this morning, about how glad I was I didn't take my EZ Up (which is my "tent" for all other overnight outdoor activities).

This year im taking a huge vinyl tent for changing/"hanging" out in. and a small dome tent to go under my monkey hut for sleeping in
