On My Way.

Post by HuDannie » Tue Jan 26, 2010 12:02 am

Got the RV and looking for a fourth. Its a lot cheeper then i thought. Were dividing the cost for everything and with just over 7months left, it will be a easy time. My camp will be based around the art of magic. so street magic and stage magic will be here to open your mind. Everyone on the RV is a Virgin and its going to be the best investment i have ever made.

Welcome to this dusty mess we call eplaya.
Can I offer a suggestion to join a local regional burner group an see if you can find an experianced 4th person. Also, just keep in mind that your RV is going to get pretty dusty. Think of a large container of baby power exploding inside the RV. Find out what the cleaning charges are and get the extra insurance.

Center Camp has I think 5 separate stages for performers to entertain the throngs of dazed hippies. Just show up and grab an empty stage, or just start performing in an open area and the crowds will follow. You may want to practice the illusion of making dust storms dissapear.

Read the first timers guide several times and start collecting your supplies now.

Here is a good place to start to find regional burners.
http://regionals.burningman.com/na_index.html

I'm sure they have Meet and Greets and may even have a few other events going on. Put on your water wings and jump in head first. The water's fine!!

Now Dannie, do I have the be the one to tell you that "if first you don't succeed, try, try again"?
The Stockton area is filled with oodles of burners. I think every third person attends Burning Man. Because it's so prevelent there, there may not be a need for local meet and greets.
Ask around, look around, Facebook, Twitter etc. Look around and you will find.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Elderberry

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

JK, you're 4 days late for your welcome message. I really hope you have a good reason for this and I fully expect that this will not happen again in the future.
