I'm cold and I want to be hot, dry, and dusty

Hi there e-playans. Long time lurker first time poster. I just wanted to say first that i love the show. Really great. Second I am aware of the happenings 'round here and i think my skin is thick enough finally for some ssssssnark. If hatin is your occupation I have a full time job for ya. (Actually I'm pretty nice so I think it's back to unemployment for you. Don't worry its being extended...)

I was cool with winter for about a month, now its just getting old. (Basically me and old man winter had a falling out. Old bastard) I'm ready for warm spring, and a hot summer of planning for Burn #2. Can't wait to sleep near the RS again. The thump thump on the ground was soothing after the first couple days. Plus its easy to find your camp. At least you think it would be.

Question: Anybody ever brought a GP Medium military tent out there? Was wondering how it held up and if it was pretty dust free. I think two of those should do the trick :D

And thats all the time we have today folks. "In case I don't see ya, good morning, good evening and holy shit its on fire."

I don't know what a GP military tent is.
MASH 4207 has at least two military tents, but I don't know what the designation on them are. Unfortunately, I don't think the MASHites are on this board too often. They have these dreadful things called lives. Really a pain, it is.

For Crypto - A GP Medium tent is: General Purpose; Medium; tent. It is a fairly common miltary, heavy canvas tent.

For BurNER: It would probably stand up well on the playa, but it has no floor and tends to get pretty hot in the sun. When I set these up in the military, it took quite a few people who knew what they are doing. Once they are up they are nice and roomy.

Yea setting them up isn't a problem. You need at least a minimum of four people but once they're up they are nice and roomy. I was thinking of some carpet to cut down on the dust. I have to remember my vacuum. I think an advantage to these tents is the thickness of the canvas materiel for providing a shady dark cool place during the day. Cant wait....
