Did you purchase, rent, or borrow this?
My local "Hastings" doesnt have any books or movies on the event, and I guess I'm just going to have to order.... :?
Amazon has a bunch of bm movies. I bought one for $10. So many people have borrowed it when they ask me what bm is...

Good job! I myself am drinking champagne in a cabin in the mtns now :) Traded someone a weekend in their cabin in exchange for me photographing it for them so they can rent it out. Win win :)

ygmir - I waved to you as I passed by Colfax this morning on the way to Sacramento. Just in case you didn't spot me I also waved on the way home. Glad I opted to take the Jeep. They had chain controls this morning. Clear this evening. 300 miles round trip, up through the snow, just so my wife could play in a table tennis tournament to get her rating. Love makes people do strange things.

Sometimes you can get so close to the action, you'll feel like you're sitting in front of an HD television.

Morning. I'm pouring a cup. Need a warmup?

Attempt one to modify my playa coat last night failed. Back to the drawing board.

Morning!
Doing the SnB Tu-Tu making day!!!

Yeah! Got lots done yesterday before and after the Movie...wow is all I can say about Avatar...yikes...blew the mind!

and crap now I want a tail!

not just any ol' faux fur covered kitty tail, I want a jointed latex covered nerve pin pointed prosthetic tail!!!!
(yes, started designing it before we even got back into the truck)
I gotta call Dave King....man I want to be able to make my tail point at boobies walking down the street when Im not even looking!

dang that gag reflex............

yeah, PM, a tail like that would be so cool.............yeehaw.......

Looneytune lit off our first prototype "flame effect", for the upgrades to the coach for this year, and, since I'll (if approved, of course) be bringing a smaller MV, too, one for it.

It worked as planned, creating a smoke/fire ring.......yay..........

we'll be fine tuning later, but, the first "mock up" seems good.

nothing so important to do today that I cannot be diverted to animatronic tail musing. Avatar... hope you saw it in 3D, pinemom. Yeah the tail was cool. but the pony tail hair ending nerve net was very cool as well.

dang, there's a servo motor tail how-to on the internet. amazing.
http://www.wolftronix.com/tail/actuator.htm

simpler perhaps if you just wanted to make something go from straight or loose to curved... maybe a cable that tightend up a series of beveled beads (vertebrae?) that would fit together more in a curve as they were shoved together. I'm thinking of those simple wooden toys, dogs, cats etc. that when you push the bottom of their stand in, they kind of loosen up and lean around

or simplest. a puppet kind of heavy duty black wire on the end of the tail, with the other held in your hand.

sounds delightful!

Morning loves. Just woke up. Things are tense at home, but I've got coffee with a friend at 3 that I'm looking forward to. No other plans today.. Maybe go for a bike ride... or work on my BM preparation...

I'm kinda down today. Which is weird, I'm usually the loudest happiest one around.

Random thought of the day: Lady gaga, god she's amazing...

Anywho, had a better day as it progressed and sunset hit... Been lazy with the boyfriend. Was much needed.. even if I do hate seeing dirty laundry on the floor. I'm just not inclined today to do something about it. There's always tomorrow....

Tea anyone?

Ever observant Unabashed Nordic Pagan!

Just checking in with everyone. Had a great weekend of tennis with lot of wins and great shots.. Sometimes it is just like that. The weight loss hasn't hurt and I am getting around the court so much faster now that I have about 12 ponds less to carry about.

Glad your day improved, Victorian. Want to meet you and Geo and all the rest of you at the meet up on the Playa. Also, if you are in the area of Southern Marin or SF, give me a shout and we can have a real cuppa coffee together. YGMIR can tell you my hospitality ain't too bad

Yes you as well Marty, glad to see weight loss is going well. And hopefully we can find one another on the playa.
