Post by ducttapekitty » Mon Feb 08, 2010 9:17 pm

Hey, I'm Zee, and Im from California. I heard about burning man a few years back, and this year i'll finally be able to go since Im 18. Just looking to meet some new people, and participate in general. Might end up going alone. Im an art major, and also have a side passion for photography and music. So hope to see everyone there :]

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

There is a very good chance that there may be art, photography, and music--so you might be in the right place!! Honestily, one of my primary reasons for going is to see the art (I'm into visual media)...un-freakin' real what people make/display :) It is a mind trip in & of itself. If you do go out, be prepared to have your mental threshold of creativity broadend immensily, ...Horizon line? what horizon line?

Tons of amazing art and photography abound.

Going alone is not a bad idea because you will make many friends amongst your neighbors where you camp, and it gives you the freedom to wander when you want to wander. That's how I go and I have many friends now where I camp.

You can even adopt art and take it home! You just have to find the Home for Wayward Art in Hushville.
