From a former Michigander, welcome.

'10 will also be first burn and I'm greatly looking forward to it. A bit obsessed, honestly.

You might want to check out Michigan's regional, Lakes of Fire. Sounds like a fun event.

Oh, and Go Green! ;)
Treat people like you want to be treated. Really...it's simple and it actually works

Yes, do your research. And plan well. Being prepared can turn it into a week long camping trip. In the desert. On the moon...

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hello from another mitten dweller. Definitely check out Lakes Of Fire the last weekend of June. http://www.lakesoffire.org/ Tickets will be going on sale in a couple of weeks! There's also a strong contingency of burners in your part of the state with a lot of gatherings and goings on. You can get in touch with them at the MI Burners yahoo group. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MI_BM/ Welcome aboard!

Greetings no-joe and savannah from the abyss that is the detroit area

What SO says sums it up. LoF will really wet your appetite for the big burn. What part of Mich are you in? The metro areas tend to be more active then say, Newberry

Make sure you get on the mi yahoo group if you havent already.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.
