Our mall is tiny, so trips to Hot Topic for boots and mini-skirts for Larry aren't too bad. And Spencer's carries the only reasonably priced preservative free lube I like. I love embarrassing the young kids running the register. They're getting used to us, and they all have learned about Burning Man.

after an afternoon of careful unobtrusive observation, and a trip to Brookstone, i have come to the conclusion that we as a nation are Fucking Doomed.

Horribly, terribly, inexorably doomed.

in the meantime, taco bell has a five layer burrito at only 89 cents.

It would be safe to say I "Fat Tuesday'd" it up last night

Went with a friend for her birthday & saw a rad jam band, migrated to another pub for a tanker (32 oz. stein) and finally to our last tavern were there was a wet-shirt contest...all in 3 1/2 hours

...(CLARK strings his beads on the table lamp, grabs very much needed coffee & lounges for a bright morning...

March 6th is six month equinox for us burners. 25 weeks, oh my!
Got my schedule request into the cafe people, I hope I get the shift I want. I'm trying to get an afternoon shift instead of morning shift. I'll be happy just to be there really.

Got my Feb. buss pass and bucks for a haircut, hitting the job fairs and doing the interveiw and testing thing. Waiting by the phone and checking CalJobs on the library 'puter.

so,
my friend just called, the confirmation of receipt of application and stuff......went to his email instead of mine.........
we filled out our forms at the same time, on my computer..........

I'm hoping this doesn't screw something up, and, they think he's trying to bring two and deny one...........

I sent an email trying to explain what happened...........

You think they would be alittle less strict about their registration policies (minus the validity of full funtioning (i.e-brakes, etc.) and night time lighting. Hell, one can easily say their own State DMV is quicker to register, and they don't even look at your rig

I have to head home and bake:
1 loaf banana bread
2 dozen sugar cookies
1 dozen or so blueberry muffins
1 pan rice krispie treats

Hopefully be done by midnight. We're having a bake sale at work, company thing to raise money for the march of dimes...

I don't even like kids.

But hey, it's a good cause. It's what I get for being on the "activities committee"... sounds like high school all over if you ask me!
