Good morning! Taking a day off work. I need a little break and I've got too much time saved up. Fuck it. I deserve it.

slept late woohoo! What a treat. Going to see how the bikes look this morning. I'm afraid to look under the tarp where they've been hybernating. I am seriously thinking of making the purple chopper into a trike, and want to get the commuter in shape for riding to work. It's got a neat little electric motor, which really smooths out the overpasses. Then the long ignored ten speed is getting some new handlebars and brake cables for road rides. Getting the tailbones used to a bike seat makes the playa a much more comfortable place to be as well.

I don't mind cold coffee, so I think I'll nab an edge espresso off La Giocanda, nice work littleflower. No small feat managing a tray with a few cups of coffee on it. Some fishy crumpet sandwiches?

I believe a small slab and some footings for a project or two they're doing.

are you laying the bricks on/in concrete, or, sand?

I've done a lot of work like that, using random granite slabs.........some brick.

Oh and PS impending doom of storm is fizzling out!!! YEAH!!!

Were pouring a 11x18ft slab(3.5 inch w/fiber,5 yr temporary) for a Sunroom off the kitchen and a 10x12ft footing for the Green house!!!! in the garden!

The weather held out for us, that was the fastest concrete pour Ive ever seen.
Oh and...every muscle in my body feel its!

Thats stuff was heavy and sooo dang fast!

Up early cause we crashed early and when I wanted to roll over to go back to sleep my muscles all screamed at me to just get up.....oh bother...
