After a decade of trying to get to the Playa, here I come!

Post by caveatlector » Wed Mar 03, 2010 11:48 am

After a chronic streak of the not-having-the-cashitis to get my butt from Toronto, Canada to BM, I've finally lucked onto a rare set of circumstances that allow me to do so.

My route to BM, the camp I'm staying in, and what I'm bringing with me is clearly still up for consideration-- but come hell or sandstorm, I'll be there.

If you see someone walking around the Playa in a Mountie outfit, that'll be me. I'll likely be confused but not distressed, and I'll absolutely be happy to meet you.

Woo!

Being of Canuck decent, you might want to contact the people at Boosh Camp: The Canadian Splinter Squad. I can get you an email address if you PM me. Most of them, however, are from western Canada but they still say "aboot" and throw unnecessary U's in the middle of words like "honour" and "rumour" not to mention those maddening "Ehs?" after every damn sentence.

Welcome caveatlector. This Mississaugan is going for the second time this year - last year was incredible.
Oh.... and yes, there will be sandstorms!

They're duststorms. No sand. And, oh yes, we will have them.

And way better...
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.
