Looking Westward With The Right Kind Of Eyes

Post by digirati.agent » Thu Mar 11, 2010 11:02 am

Hello All,

This is my first post on the eplaya. I have wanted to make it to a burn for years... and this year it finally is going to happen for me. One way or another I will be there. I will be coming from Atlanta and might caravan behind some of the local community here if I can coordinate it. I definitely would like to find a theme camp that I could add something to.

I am computer geek by trade... and an amateur maker by hobby. I like to read and am slowly making my way around the world to see as much of it as I can.

Did you buy your ticket yet? Buy the ticket, take the ride. You'll be vested and committed. It makes it planning for something you're doing, not hoping to do something.

Welcome to eplaya!

You have taken your first step westward. This is a good thing. Getting your ticket is the next critical step, as teardropper has stated.

And please do share what you make with us. We love makers here. Almost as much as we love Maker's.

Thanks for the warm welcomes...
I will try to get some pics posted of some things I have made. I like to do little steampunk tidbits for friend's costumes and have done some minor electronics tinkering under the tutelage of a mentor of mine. Just starting to find the time to really explore it!

There's a shitton of awesome burners and goings-on in Atlanta.

Colab's having a prom 3/20

http://colaboratory.net/

The Art of Such'n'Such, Camp SCIENCE!, loads of aerialists, fire performers/sculpturists - an art car tribe...plenty of people driving and flying then renting out of the 404. And 678. Etc.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
