Viz:
Interactivity Overview- gee it's all so swell
APOKILIPTIKA is making a special effort this year to enhance our visual frontage as well as make our camp an attractive day and night interactivity destination for the citizens of BRC 2010.
We are planning a section of the camp- far right on map- as an interactivity space. This space will provide a set of carnival style games including our new "Toss the Cock-Ring on the Dildo" game, and "Destroy the City" game. The former is self explanatory- the latter? It will allow citizens to use a mini catapult to launch small foam block and ball boulders at a model city target.
ART! Yes, we have a couple participatory art projects where citizens can join in a painting projects. This will be fun! First is a public bus painting opportunity, where random acts of creativity can be splattered, sprayed and brushed onto a customized bus. After the burn, the bus will carry your art into the wretched default world.
Then, put yourself into, art... body part-wise with the Shamanic Vodka Painting Space, where you can, in a trance like state, use your body as a brush on large canvas panels!
Citizens can try their nimbleness on wheels at our new Bike Rodeo featuring the weirdest set of bikes anywhere in BRC.
The APOKILIPTIKA Guard Tower will be offering "DYI Despot" where YOU can be tyrant for a day. Prepared speeches and a megaphone await. Let your inner ultimate ruler come out and play!!!
The APOKILIPTIKA Photo Spot is the perfect place for you and your loved ones (or lusted-after ones...) to get THE Burning Man photo amid a scene of ruin, total destruction and societal decay! The demise of cities personified!!!
Our Mutant Vehicle Display Area will feature this year's line up of altered auto-motion with gas powered, electric and human powered rigs.
The Kantina APOKILIPTIKA returns, featuring a cozy little cocktail dive hosted by the legendary Bay Bridge Sue. In addition, it will serve as the APOKILIPTIKA Visitor Center and Museum featuring art from the Hqll of Truth Poster Collections, a display depicting the history of APOKILIPTIKA- small countries conquered- souls tortured, and camps from the past with jolly good snaps of members in occasionally embarrassing situations.
Busted Bike? No blems! We offer Bike Repairs!!!
Phew! Hubba hubba!!!
Besides the offerings above, APOKILIPTIKA offers ambiance. That's right am-bi-ance. Sights of demise, and even sounds of demise!!
See and Hear the Voice of DOOM Siren Project!!!
