guild lines for just having a camp

is there a guild line for camps to fellow ...don't every camp have to do something for the city?...

Placed Theme Camps are required to do something for the City. Non-Placed Theme Camps are asked to do so, but not required to.

Placed Theme Camps get some of the best locations in the City. Non-Placed Theme Camps can only camp in selected areas.

Placed Theme Camps also can request Early Entry Permission (note the word "request"). Non-Placed Theme Camps essentially must wait to enter at Monday just after midnight Sunday (00:00 hours so-to-speak). There is a huge line then (many hours).

There is a deadline for asking to be a Placed Theme Camp. A coherent plan is required. Not every application for Placement is approved (it gets harder every year as more Camps ask for Placement, since the amount of space for Placed Camps is fixed)

Now, if you haven't read the previously suggested website, do so now. After that, feel free to ask more questions.

According to the internet: a guild is a "group of plants, as parasites, having a similar habit of growth and nutrition." and I am sure that describes some of the "participants" we encounter... So, yah, none of those allowed!!

Just show up, find a nice spot to camp and set up. If you bring something to share then share it. If not go out and enjoy the city. Have fun. Squeeze in your two hours of moop pick up and make sure your camp is spotless when you leave.

No grey water on the playa and no baby wipes or hygiene products in the porta-potties.

He never used the -ing ending, though....

"Theme Camps" don't necessarily have to coordinate with the "Burning Man Theme". They only have to coordinate with themselves.
