Aussie looking for some space to build for the Burn. HELP

Post by oli » Tue Mar 30, 2010 7:36 pm

Hey Hey

So my story goes.....
Im an Australian looking for a space to build my bike for BM
Im planning on using an existing bike and then building a trailer for it. Im looking for a little space approximatly 3 x 6 metres thats approx 9.5 x 19 foot. So if anyone, anyone at all knows of group spaces, private driveway even or anything that keeps me away from trying to build in the local park that would be great. Ha!It would be of a great benefit if there were tools that could be shared but at the moment im designing so as to use as few tools as possible, but a welder above all else would be really beneficial. Also looking at dates between early july till the start of BM approx. Im not shy of having to pay for rental space if need be. The actual city of location is not my prority at the moment as i am trying all avenues.

Thanks in advance

Why don't you just rent a storage unit?

If I'm still at this house, around burn time, you can use my garage or back yard. Where are you arriving?

As long as I pay rent, I don't plan on leaving. Works slow, but picking up....finally. I'm pretty much, on the way to BRC, from san francisco. Just a slight detour on 780.

And it is a house, with a garage made for model Ts, but ample space. And a back yard. This will be before, the event starts? I will be on playa Monday morning. Spose I could make some arrangement with my upstairs neighbor, if it isn't.
