What in Life Brings You Back to the 2009 Burn

Post by Dad » Tue Mar 30, 2010 12:04 am

It seems as I sit here drinking yet another, listening to tunes from far away, and here that I composed, it is 2 tunes in particular I wrote that catch my mind every time. Though I have done approx. 30 songs since, and yes, only 1 painting simply called "F^*@", it is these 2 songs that truly put my mind back on the playa. "After the Burn" which was the 1st a couple months after getting home, and "Walking on a Mask". These 2 take me directly onto the playa. Wish they all could. LOL.

What takes you there?
Believe that with your feelings and your work you are taking part in the greatest; the more strongly you cultivate this belief, the more will reality and the world go forth from it.

I went back last week to get my feet back under me and to visit the temple.
I now have a good birgin friend who needs the temple this year. Thought I would be a tour guide this year.

The 4 tubs of playa goodies in the garage on the top shelf. Always eyeball them and giggle when I am in the garage.
