Hey K , welcome. I am in Denver. You should try and go to Apogaea. it is the regional burn here in Colorado. apogaea.com. It is fantastic, and a good way to get into the colorado burners scene. Its june 10-13 and is about an hour and 45 min up in the mountains from colorado springs. so from boulder about 3hrs 30 min. I'm not sure when tickets go on sale. You shoulc definately check it out. Hope you have a great burn!

Woot Woot Colorado!!!
I've never been to Apogaea, but probably gonna make it this year!
Other cool events, more like parties, happen at Cervantes all the time. Check the Cervantes calendar often, the 13th and 17th will both be pretty sweet. Let me know if you're gonna go!

Yeah I do to. We're gonna try to make it this year.AntiM wrote:Welcome. Many Utah burners go to the CO burn, but this year they're on the same weekend. I hear good things about Apogaea, but have only been to our burn here myself.

check out the Colorado Burning Man list serve on Yahoo groups for up-to-date info about what's going on. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/colorado-bm/
Last year I had some spare time on my hands and counted up all the theme camps at BM. Colorado was number four in the nation in terms of placed theme camps. Not a big deal, but it is a sign of a really active community.
I hope to see you at Apogaea in June!
