Zifra will be away from her computer for a few days, maybe a week's time. So do give her some time to get back to you guys.

I'd be happy to answer any questions before hand if needed.

Hey all you lizards.
My uncle has a lemon tree. I'm picking them ripe and ready all week. I have a power juicer, I'll be squeezing them, for every drop I can, and freezing the lemon juice in individual ice cube trays, and MAKIN' TONS of lemonade in time for BM 2010. You better be ready. It's going to be quite tasty!

Sorry for the delay in responding to all. The surgeons had me all tied in knots!

I am almost back to the real world and will be getting back to everyone who has messaged me tomorrow.

Love shared is squared!

Lazy lizards!

Post by skwhite628 » Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:20 am

This camp sounds like it would be a great match up for this year if you are still accepting new campers, what do I need to do to be included in plans and such?

Just wanted to publicly thank Zifra for being so awesome. We spoke on Saturday and seemed to get along well. :) I can tell you have a heart of gold and I can't wait to meet you in person.

We are going to make the Lizard Lounge AWESOME and everyone will want to join us for some lemonade and cool people :)

4 burners (two returning/two virgins) are interested in your camp. Your idea's really cool and it's something that we'd love to do for the community.

The two of us who attended the 08 burn built our own geodesic dome and are very handy with building a structure etc. The two virgins are really fun to hang out with and pretty chill. Please let us know if you are willing to recruit us.

You can get in touch with us at bhandary (at) gmail (dot) com if you're interested

Hey Everyone!

My first trip home was '08 and it was incredible! Honestly, didn't think I'd get the opportunity to go back but.. it's gonna work out this year so I'm excited!!

Soooo...

Ticket.. Check!
Plane Reservations.. Check!
Car Rented.. Check!

Camp?

Been searchin around for one and came across his thread.. Looks to be my ideal camp.. I mean.. laid back, open-minded, vodka drinkers??? What's not to like???

I have exchanged emails with Zifra and hopefully will be talking this week.. If it works out, I will help anyone any way I can.. I wont be able to arrive until late on the 1st or early the 2nd but will be stayin through the Temple Burn(missed it last time and really wanna do it this year) so can offer anyone a ride to or from Reno on those times or can pick up any leftover stuff as needed..

Look forward to hopefully meeting all of you!

Good fucking luck to you,. I had Zafira and Co, accept me for the Burn, only tp turn around tonight and tell me I was not welcome, and leaving me in a position where I might have to stay in San Fran instead of going to BM, as I have no other option.

These people are assholes. I bent over backwards to accommodate their wishes, and they have turned out to be backstabbing sh6theads.

I've been to BM twice before, BTW.

miscommunication is hard

Post by zifra » Mon Aug 16, 2010 10:21 pm

There was a misunderstanding about who would be able to do what. In trying to resolve the issue it became clear we communicate on different wavelengths.

Although it hurt me to do it, I made the hard choice I did for the good of my camp.

My camp will be drama free.

The Perfect Lizards to Join Your Camp!!!

Post by katiekatiebaby » Tue Aug 17, 2010 1:07 am

Hi Zifra, I am an artist/student living in San Francisco. I love fashion, music, art, and all of the wonderful things life has to offer. I read about your theme camp and it sounds perfect! I love that you want to help out first timers like others helped you out. My boyfriend is also coming to burning man this year and it will be both of our first times participating in BM and we are both really excited for it! Laid back, fun, adventurous, artistic, friendly, VERY drama-free and just all around lovable, we are more than willing to help out in any way to keep the camp running smoothly and participate in the events! I hope you have room for us! We need a camp as soon as possible!!! If you don't have room, please let me know of any other camps you might know of that we could join!
Thanks

Katie

Joining the Lazy Lizard Lounge

Post by jraab2222 » Tue Aug 17, 2010 8:33 am

I am a sociology major at Colorado College in Colorado Springs about to embark on my first Burning Man with my uncle. Your theme camp seems perfect for the experience we are looking for and we would love to become a part of the community. We are easy going people simply looking for good like minded people to share an enriching and intense experience with.

I will also be working on my Sociology senior thesis project on moral individualism and expressive community at Burning Man. I want to explore whether Burning Man can be understood as an "expressive community" integrating both community and expressive individualism and/or as a temporary, ephemeral ritual of moral individualism organized on the basis of tolerance and respect for the right to (radical) self-expression.

Any room left to squeeze us in? We are more than willing to contribute both financially and with any amount of man power.
