I think junior high shop teachers had a greater impact on the quality of future workers than we knew. I bless those hard ass men daily when I compare my workmanship to the crap my fellow workers are just fine with.

Hello and good morning....ya"Im beat" is a good adjective to describe me today!

Wow what a weekend! Hey MagicMarty sorry we missed ya I hope you had a good Birthday!!!!!!!!!

I had hardly no cell service down there, so I was having a hard time callin or getting calls.

Got to hang with Simon of the playa,Nickel, my oldest daughter,SIL and their posse came up from Monterey, my sister came up from Livermoore.
Dang it was fun fun fun!!!

I havent been able to find any video yet....
I know CB took one of the whole show, but it takes awhile for the video's to appear.......?

OH HOLY SHIT BATMAN!!!!!!!

I just took 2 rides on 80mph carport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One was fun...the first as my feet were 5 ft off the ground then set me down 5 ft away.
The second...more like my feet were 10-15 feeet in the fucking air....and it attempted to wanna fly over the camper and send me to OZ if Titwi wasnt riding himself 6feet up in the air to weigh it down!

Im shaking like a fucken leaf!!!! I almost pissed myself!

Im lucky I only came away with a bashed knuckle and a skidded ankle.

Caport, Fishy.........is dead to us all now.

Ok....80+mph via the news flash just now on the boobtube.

Just took a roof off a house in Stead,nv....3 miles north of us!

Power is out downtown,hoping it doesnt hit here. Titwi is working:-)

Im not going out as planned....this morning was a visit to the HS school principle over a teacher forcefully grabbing my daughter late yesterday.
So not only was I already dreading the confrontation.

Now Im about to sit down with a bottle of whiskey....

Carport is a mangled mess. 50% of our burner stuff is about to get its first shower.2nd carport containing 25% more of burner gear going any minute....and Im watching from the window this time!!!!!

Looks like the back fence is going to join the mobility club as well.

damn....and now we cant remember if the Big Boob bra is in barn or out "THERE"......

Jeeze, Piney..............my aunt, who lived in Reno, for 90 years, often referred to the "Carson Zephyr", where the winds would be hurricane force right up to Stead............

I hope your stuff survives...........and the fence.

Took a 45 gust yesterday.. That was nuf to suit me.. I'm in the house in a flash.. The shop has two 40 ft trees over it..

Gramps car port took a dump over his van 05BM middle of the night.. Seeing a 80+yr old naked retreving his gear is anuf to blind ya..[/i]

Ya Fishy, we gotta find a new carport for you now! Yours is a twisted heap now.

The Kitchen carport is next...its taking a beating, of which we're watching by window this time.

The back fence is now being blown apart, so geeze we keep this up and we can just write it all off on the home owners....ARRRG!

Piney - what part of town are you in? I hear Lemmon Valley is getting hit hard. I'm in east Sparks off Vista. Windy but no damage yet that I'm aware of. One of my camp mates is in south Reno near Rattlesnake and has lost a fence.

Uh Um, yeah~ we live in LEMMON VALLEY! eeek~
That is the second carport we've lost, so what we learned here is that 80+ winds, 4 pieces of 24 inch rebar with 8 truck ties, 3, 10inch rebar in ea. of the 8 legs.

I cut up our twisted carport.. Ended up with a 8x16 trailer port.. Had to buy a couple of fence rails to finish it..
