why the iraq green zone is better than burning man

Post by buttrose » Mon Apr 26, 2010 12:28 pm

* stuff gets blown the hell up, not lit on pretty little fire
* is not run like a QUASI military organization
* badder vehicles with bigger tires
* closer to the airport
* Green Zone Cafe (destroyed)
* Green Zone Bazaar (destroyed)
* theme camps get destroyed
* the Hat is black man in a white house
* grunts make DPW look like the whiny little bitches they are
* no greeters at Assassin's Gate. welcome home? STFU!
* racially diverse
* matt damon made a movie about it
* all year round, every year - forever
* everyone gets paid
* not a cult
* no cops trying to bust you for shooting heroin in the porta potties
* participants still carry side arms
* drive-by shooting range: OPEN

* no strict penalty for killing civilians (non-volunteers). thus, these troglodytes get the F out of your way
* crying about a little arson will get your ass kicked, not coddled
* an appropriate display of psychopathy earns respect, not ridicule

These "Why the "...insert place or event here" is better than burningman threads are weak..

God id dump them if I wasn't such a believer in civil liberties and freedom of expression.

its right on the edge though...

No, he just absolutely spot-on summed up this trolling dirtwad from the point of view of someone who CAN dump a thread.

Anyone remember BlackRocRic? Now there was a REAL troll. Another dirtwad, sure, but at least he was good at it.

"It was better last year" is a J-O-K-E... a running gag... but I suppose you are usually last to get jokes.

Just had a thought.
Since we can't rpg those idiots that run their loud party barges in the city at full volume in the morning (well, we could, but don't), how about paint balling them?
That would make it easier for everyone to file noise complaints later too.

I bet those bank robber dye packs would be fun too.

It would give paintball a bad name.
No eye protection, unless you unleashed your fury during a duststorm. ;)
