I just ordered a DVD Documentary about Burning Man called "Journey to the Flames - 10 Years of Burning Man". I'd have to say it was pretty decent. It gave a nice perspective of what you're to expect, without ruining all of the surprises. There were moments where I think it focused too much on the group it was filming, rather than Burning Man itself.
Has anyone else seen this?

Burning Book is the best book I have seen to cover this event. I have a few copies floating around to loan out. It has the perfect mix of interesting photos (for my illiterate friends) and lots of words assembled in a perfect order to make for interesting reading.
Burning Book
The truth be told, I wanted to try putting the url behind the words like fishy did. I hope this works.

I personally like Barbara Traub's "Desert To Dream: A Decade Of Burning Man Photography". Not only is it truly the diffinitive photographic book on TTITD, but pages 86 and 87 are pure genious. Of course, on page 86 is a picture of me and on page 87 is a nice shot of Barbie Death Camp. Oh sure, there's a picture of our camp in "Burning Book" and we are even mentioned in the novel "The Man Burns Tonight", but Ms. Traub's book is the best of the genre by far. And if you disagree then you are simply mistaken.

I love Desert to dream. The book and photos are truly beautiful. I came into my house one night to see the book flying across my living room though. My mother was sitting on my living room floor with my daugther on her lap. I guess they had been looking at the book together and my mom saw the nudity and hucked the book for fear of scarring my daughter. I just stared at her then looked around the room at some of the "art" that we have and said "Really you think that have a problem with Izzy seeing the nude human form"
Silly mother.
Silly mother.
Ragabadger don't give a shit.
