You know, scents are processed in the brain at a spot very close to your oldest memories. If you drop in some unique scent with your stay in BRC, then the next time you smell it again, you will return home in a very real way.

Choose your soap carefully.
I used to get the sandalwood...now I use whatever's hippiest and in the free sample bin...fragrance-free. The only thing I want to come home smelling like is shame and AquaVelva.

I like dr. b's but it's pricey. lately I've been enjoying T.J's tea tree tingle. It's bracing to experience the strong scent. wakes me up. On playa, I use the rei camp soap for dishes and a regular one step shampoo with conditioner, whatever is in the dollar sampler bin.
