I haven't opened a topic in quite a while, but May 1st is tomorrow and I wanted to share this.

Many years ago, I heard that on May 1st, if you say the phrase out loud, "white rabbit, white rabbit, bring me good luck", you will have one full year of good luck. This needs to be the first words you speak when you wake up on May 1st. I have been doing this consistently for many years and I seem to be a pretty lucky person.

So, on May 1st, when you wake up, say out loud, "WHITE RABBIT, WHITE RABBIT, BRING ME GOOD LUCK".

If anyone else has any info on this, could they post it here? I'm not sure where this started, but it seems to work.

I got up at about 4:00am east coast time to pee, and did my ritual. I'm not sure if I go back to sleep, if I do it again, but why not?

Now, let me share my luck that I've had over the years. At various conventions and trade shows, they have drawings and other ways of winning different things from various vendors, some by dropping a business card in the fish bowl etc. Lots of small things like MP3 players, but the following is a list of trips won. Not the sleezy time share where you have to sit while they pitch you, but real, all expense paid trips (with a 1099 at the end only)

Trip to Maui at the Four Seasons hotel
Cruise to Alaska
7 day trip to Costa Rica
7 day cruise around Tahiti islands
Baltic cruise including Estonia and St. Petersburg Russia
South Africa--safaris, Cape Town, Johanesburg, Krueger reserve
Caribbean cruise
Rio De Janeiro (won, but sold the trip to a friend)

Again, these were won by me, not someone who knows someone. I have pictures to prove it. So I will continue my 5 second annual ritual and wish for continued luck.
