Looking to Join a theme camp

Post by tra la la » Wed Mar 10, 2010 3:52 pm

Good evening friends,
I am tra la la....i am looking forward to burning man this year. It has been 2 years since i have been to the Playa. It will be wonderful to come back. I am not sure how we are getting there yet. We are from Michigan. We might fly....also - this year we might like to join a theme camp.

Are their any suggestions on how to find a theme camp to join?

Thanks!

Tra la la

Got any special skills or interests that would interest a theme camp?

I agree with Doug. Sell yourself. Why would we want you and your fellow Wolverines in our camp? How many of you are there? Ages, skills, what do you bring to the table? If you're flying are you asking for help in Reno/Sacramento/San Francisco? Remember, many are called but few are chosen. Letting us know things like sexual orientation (well, maybe not the best example, unless of course you're Doug) or vices. You know, the things we really care about.

Don't call us, we'll call you.

Maybe.

Look through the listed theme camps for 2009 on the main site. If they have contact info, and sound like your thang, give them a shout. See if they are returning and if they're taking new members.

But doc is correct, we want to know your dirty little secrets. And the big ones. Wine or beer? Plastic or paper?

Whoever tra la la was certainly didn't do a damn thing to increase his/her/its odds of getting invited to a theme camp. Probably not even from the midwest. My guess is that tra la la is just another dirty hippie.

There aren't any hippies at Burning Man. Didn't you know that?
