That was suggested, but it was hot and I wasn't going to subject my cat to that. I can see the point and I'm completely behind not letting dogs or cats run free at any event, but it was the rigidity of thinking that bothered me most. This was Burning Man the last frontier of free thinking expression on a large scale.By the way my cat read your comment an wanted to tell you if it takes making people believe your "stupid " to get them to build her a house with a back yard as big as Black Rock City , so be it.

Um. Don't take Doc too seriously. Although we can be a bit rough and tumble and of course we end up stepping on toes now and then.

The rigidity comes from the difficulty of convincing dog owners that no one wants to see their little wuddy wums on the playa.
And the result being large numbers of dogs dying of exposure, and rifle fire when they end up on farm land.

I don't think cats have been a big predatory problem.

If you see a territorial dog in an enclosed car, I can tell you how to ensure it's the last trip with that owner.
