my guess is, no.
But, I bet, he will now be able to sell the particular remote and fairly unusable (for housing) piece of property to someone, (probably rich and from "the city) for a bunch of cash.........

(CLARK nods to goathead & ygmir as he passes by. Empties out grounds and begins a fresh pot o'Joe for the late Saturday night crew) Just waking em' up now. My schedule changed at work, still getting used to it (went from 6p-3a to now 8p-5a shift) It's only a two hour difference, but the body gets set to time and has to recalibrate to the difference. Pro is I feel more awake when I show up...Con is,of course, the lag felt from pushing into daylight :( other than that, just simple happy hearting it. Gonna work on a small assemblage art piece for a friend-- :D art is a l w a y s a good time, expression never steers ya wrong! Is anyone going out into the fun world tonight :) ? Sorry, I have to view it vicariously as I don't get weekends off

hey there Cc.......long time, no see............
How ya doin?

I'll take some coffee......tough day.......dug a 3x3x6 foot hole for a grey water system, plumbed, and back filled it, then came home and split firewood........probably the last fires I'll make until next winter, but, it's supposed to get chilly and rainy here next week.

I could also use a "wayback" machine to take about 30 years off..........

Snap ygmir, sounds like a very constructive day :) Mine hasn't started yet, but will be a big night of freight box throwin' (4,200 piece General merchandise & 1,300 piece Grocery truck) sooo, about 5,500 boxes to stock between about 10 people :) the workout is one of the only perk benefits (stay in shape to shine in the Nevada desert sun) plus the near graveyard shift comes in handy, too, when hit the playa--bodies adusted to dance all night long  8)

haha  ! yea, it's all ok. Been thinking about trying to get a Friday or Saturday off (it's been ion's since,...well,shit! 1 1/2 years?! :? ) just to see how the other weekenders live. I have a hankering/curiousity that suggests it's a funner night off than my Monday/Tuesday nights...as well, it may also suggest I'm not missing too much :)

gh sneaking away from work for a second for a bit of coffee.
what a fun day, got off work and put 22 miles on the 4 wheeler out exploring the hills.

of course that meant, well not much time for sleep, but well worth the trade.

Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day
I am your son
I am a runaway

Living on the east side
Always getting stoned
I am your son
I'm glad I'm not home

Happy Mother's Day!

This is the wrong song to have stuck in your head today.

Everything is wrong today. I had my work calendar backwards, and my weekends off in June, that I had burn-related fundraisers and whatnots, and Transformus in July, I don't have off. I have to work.

Sorry to hear about your work schedule C.f.M. That sucks assholes!
I requested my time off for the event at the beginning of this month, WAY in advance so it gets approved early. I did the same request months in advance last year as well, and about two weeks before the trip to BRC, the bosses we're talking about declining my paid vacation due to "lack of coverage"...

(really :) ? Get the fuck out!!)

My smile did not skip a beat as I told them I would call in sick every single day for the event days, sorry, don't know what to tell ya :)

just drove to L.A. yesterday, and back today for a graduation. My nephew is a fine young man, with good responsible friends.... not the rowdy fuckup I was at that age, thank dawg.

The speech was a bit odd though... not too hopeful for planning a lifetime and future generations. Darn preacher was on an "end of days" theme. Sort of a here's why you should bother speech? O.K., I kept my mouth shut and didn't get into any trouble. A good nugget for a future discussion with the graduate in a more temperate environment. We had a good backyard barbeque with a load of young people feeling their oats, basking in a special day, an awesome thing.

I enjoyed the scenery at both ends, but 5 is a long dull drive for the most part... lot's of coffee today.

time to check in with my Mom by phone. happy day Moms.
